People Are Like Holes In Boats… And We Are SINKING!

I don’t know when you will read this article but as I write it, the UK, or more specifically England, has been enjoying life without the Covid restrictions.

The last few come to an end this week I believe.

Masks are no longer compulsory anywhere and the rule to self-isolate when positive has also been removed… but you are advised to though.

There is no legal requirement to stay at home or wear a mask now.

I am not going to wade into the debate about mask wearing other than to say this…

People have stopped wearing masks…

And we are now seeing the worst infection rates since the start of the pandemic. Worse than we did during the two years of restrictions.

UK Covid Infection Rates

More and more people are being admitted to hospital and those hospitals are struggling with the influx of ill people and the lack of staff with many off with Covid themselves.

Many schools are closing classes and whole years because too many staff and children are off poorly with Covid.

More importantly, too many people are still dying from this virus… 998 people have died so far this week.

In 2021, a total of 176 people died globally in plane crashes.

A total of 580 people here in the UK died in 2021 in road traffic accidents…

Yet as a society we seem to be happy to do nothing and allow nearly a thousand people a week to die from Covid like it is nothing.

It seems like everyone is catching it since restrictions were removed.

And yet I still seeing people on social media saying ‘masks don’t work’.

Japanese mask wearers

It’s funny that a nation like Japan which has a very strong sense of honour and community where they ‘think of others first’ and wear masks regularly to stop the spread of flues and colds has only had a grand total of 27,841 Covid related deaths.

While here in the UK…

UK anti-mask protesters

Where we have a society which is very much ‘me… me… me’, where a lot of people refuse to listen to experts and are very anti-establishment (which is not always a bad thing), who believe that Covid is a hoax – they call it the ‘scamdemic’ – or some kind of mass control by the elites (whoever they really are?)… we have…

165,000 Covid related deaths.

Let’s not forget… Japan has 58.88 million more people than the UK. That’s not far off from being twice the UK population which currently stands at 67.22 million.

Yes, Japan may be a big country, but a huge portion of the population live in their large cities and towns.

Tokyo has 5 million more people living in it than London. That’s like having nine Manchesters tagged onto London.

A lot of the people here in the UK believe that masks don’t work and so they didn’t wear them.

Unlike the Japanese – and many other countries – a lot of people here chose to not listen to the scientists and experts.

Instead of listening to those who spend years studying all forms of biologies and physics, they chose to listen to Liam the unemployed weed smoker who hangs around the shops all week who hasn’t realised he is suffering from cannabis psychosis after too many years of daily consumption of the green stuff.

As I say, I am not getting involved in the debate; there are a lot of variables to factor in which most anti-maskers haven’t even taken into any form of consideration.

I’m under no illusion that masks are perfect or 100% safe, but hospital staff have been using them for years and there’s more than enough evidence to show that they help… a lot.

If you are one of those who struggle with that idea then stop and think about the UK Japan comparison.

If that doesn’t convince you to listen to experts… try this…

Anti-Masker: Masks don’t work.

Expert: You sure about that?

Anti-Masker: Yes, if they did, Covid wouldn’t have spread like it has.

Expert: Did you wear a mask?

Anti-Masker: No I didn’t, because they don’t work innit.

Expert: Did your friends and close family wear masks?

Anti-Masker: No, they think the same as me, they aren’t sheeple innit. And those who did, I soon educated them (giggles from a strong sense of (misplaced) self-assurance).

Expert: Would you say then that 15 or 20 percent of the UK population didn’t wear masks?

Anti-Masker: Absolutely, we are not falling for that scamdemic and being forced to fear a virus which is no worse than the flue.

Expert: If a boat hull has one hundred holes, will it sink if you put it to sail?

Anti-Masker: What? Why are you asking me that?

Expert: Would it sink?

Anti-Masker: Of course it would (sniggers with a superiority suggesting it was a stupid question).

Expert: What if you repaired all of those holes, would the boat sink?

Anti-Masker: No of course not. Stupid question innit, you’re weird man!

Expert: What if you repaired 85 percent of those holes, would the boat sink?

Anti-Masker: Yes, of course it would, it’ll be slower but it will still sink.

Expert: Why is that?

Anti-Masker: Why do you think? You have left holes which will allow the water to come in and spread.

Expert: So what you are saying is that if 15 to 20 percent of holes are not filled, the work being done by the other 80 to 85 percent of the repaired holes to keep the water out is not enough to prevent the boat sinking.

Anti-Masker: Er…. Yeah. Dumbass!

Expert: So filling holes don’t work then?

Anti-Masker: Yeah… they do… but… er….not if there are multiple holes and only one or two are filled in isolation.

Expert: So for total success, to prevent the boat sinking, you need 100 percent of holes filled yes?

Anti-Masker: Yes of course, innit (sucks his teeth in a gangster style saying ‘finally, you understand!’).

Expert: I see… so what were you saying about masks not working to completely stop the spread of an airborne virus when you were one of the 15-20 percent who didn’t wear them?

Anti-Masker: F*** OFF!

That conversation didn’t happen, but if it did, that is how I imagined it would have gone.

The worst thing is that you just know that some people won’t change their opinion even after being shown irrefutable facts.

And that is very often why people fail.

As individuals or as a collective such as society, failure comes from not doing what is right but instead allowing ourselves to stay lost in our own opinion which is often based on other people’s dubious opinions and, as Trump liked to call them, alt-facts.

There is no such thing as alt-facts.

An opinion can only be about something which is personal and subjective such as music.

Two people can have different opinions about which is the best style of music and both will be right and wrong at the same time.

Music is subjective and so there is no right or wrong answer, it is just that you either like something or you don’t. It is a personal preference.

No one is right or wrong.

However, when it comes to debating whether a specific single was at number one for 16 weeks or not, a fact cannot be opposed.

Two people can argue over how long Bryan Adam’s was at number one with “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You” in 1993, the one who says it was number one for 16 weeks is right and cannot be anything other than right.

The person who says it was at number one for 14 weeks is wrong. His belief or opinion about that is invalid. It isn’t an opinion, it is just wrong.

If you want to believe something is so, then so be it. But understand that that is not an opinion. It is wrong. No opinion or belief can oppose a fact. It’s just plain wrong.

Does Skegness beach have sand and water?

Yes it does.

It doesn’t matter whether you think it has candyfloss clouds and lemonade, it has sand and water.

The hardest part of life is to work out what is fact and what is not, what is right and what is wrong and what is good and what is bad.

When it comes to making money whether that is from home as an individual working on a side project or building a real world business with staff, if you do not do what is right and what has been proven to work, you will fail.

If you ignore the facts and simply do what you want to do, or do what you believe will work despite it being proven wrong, you will fail.

Listening to experts is a must.

I know that is hard because historically some experts have lied and manipulated their research to fit a specific idea for money or ego.

Experts are human too and occasionally, you do get a bad one.

But when it comes to making money or business, if someone who has been successful tells you to do something ‘this way’ because that is what he did, you need to listen.

I’d like to introduce you to Gary McCall.

Gary has become the go-to expert in a relatively unknown yet incredibly simple method to make money.

He wants to show you how to make between £1,500 and £2,200 per month by simply copying text from one place and pasting it in another.

It’s a simple process anyone can do.

There’s NO product to create… NOTHING to buy in… NOTHING to sell… NO promoting other people’s products… NO placing adverts on Facebook or other social media sites…or anywhere else!

There’s NO betting, gambling or financial trading involved either. In fact, it’s totally risk free… You won’t risk or spend any money by giving it a try.

Why Your Past – No Matter How Bad – Won’t Hold You Back!

I recently shared with you the story of Italian born celebrity chef Gino D’ Acampo who had spent time in prison for his part of a burglary of popular 80s singer Paul Young’s home.

Gino’s spell inside hasn’t stopped him from being successful.

Very often the ‘turning my life around’ story is very attractive and inspiring to many and can help catapult a person to success.

Today, I want to share two other stories with you which showcase how a dubious and dodgy past has not harmed or hindered the future careers of those involved.

In fact, without these dubious and dodgy moments, they may not have become what they are today.

Both Take That and Boyzone are well respected pop bands who have sold millions of singles and albums around the world.

In the 1990s and 2000s, both bands were adored by teenage girls who would blush and swoon any time their names were mentioned.

As far as bands go, these guys were huge.

They toured the world and have performed in some of the biggest stadiums singing in front of sell-out crowds of tens of thousands of screaming fans.

Today they are now sharp suit wearing middle aged men adored by many middle aged ladies (and men) who have remained fans since they were young teenage heartthrobs.

It is safe to say that they have had incredibly successful careers.

What is more impressive is that they were manufactured bands.

Neither band were a group of friends who had decided to create a band, they were put together by record labels who were looking to make the next ‘big thing’ in pop music.

Very few of them could actually sing. A couple of Take That were picked based on their looks and that they could dance, they couldn’t actually sing.

The first time Boyzone were seen on television was when they appeared briefly on a popular Irish talk show The Late Show in 1993 hosted by Gay Byrne dancing badly to a song which wasn’t theirs.

You have to see the clip, it is hilariously bad. You can see the other guests and the audience laughing at them.

So bad that one person on YouTube said “I saw this at the time and genuinely thought it was supposed to be a comedy piss take of Take That”.

You can see the clip for yourself here:

They were touted as the next big boy band before embarrassingly wriggling and jiving badly to Light My Fire by Club House.

The line up which appeared on the show included one guy who never made it into the later successful version of the band.

Watching that clip, you cannot help but think that they should never have become successful.

But they did.

It was embarrassingly bad and I’m surprised the lads didn’t quit from embarrassment and shame… but believe it or not, it was part of manager Louis Walsh’s master plan.

Louis was pre-warming up the teenage girls of Ireland.

He was building a buzz and a tribe of teenagers who wanted to see and know more about this gang of hunky young men.

He was building interest before there was a finished product to offer.

Take That had a similar start.

The band members attended auditions after answered adverts looking for young men to create a new boy band.

Take That, one of the biggest bands ever to be loved and adored by women worldwide only happened thanks to their early days of wearing shocking tight lycra shorts and performing in gay night clubs.

Their manager understood the power of the gay scene.

When they adopt a band or singer, they spend money. The pink pound, as it has been called, can propel people into the limelight.

The video to Take That’s first UK single, a ‘hi-energy’ song called Do What You Like, was very homoerotic and clearly targeted the gay market.

You can watch the video for yourself here:

It included plenty of naked chests, leather jackets, tight lycra shorts and silver chains.

The music style known as hi-energy was popular in gay clubs up and down the UK in the 1990s.

This song and video was clearly aimed at the gay club scene as a way to establish a good sized fan base which would help Take That remain in the limelight.

New bands can disappear as fast as they come. Record companies will drop bands at the drop of a hat if there is very little interest in them.

By appealing to the gay scene, it helped Take That establish a fan base and to cement their future.

The Take That in that video is a lot different to the Take That most people remember.

Boyzone’s first television appearance had a similar vibe to Take That’s video, they were dancing to a hi-energy club tune while flashing naked chests which appealed to the young ladies and possibly the gay scene of Ireland.

Those early days for both bands look embarrassingly bad and incredibly tacky, yet despite that, they became huge global successes.

Those early days didn’t harm or hinder their careers, they helped them.

Even if they weren’t calculated stunts designed to build loyal fans as soon as they could, they wouldn’t have harmed their futures because they remain in the past.

They become something to build on and improve on.

What does kill a person’s future prospects of success is the one thing I hinted at earlier… becoming embarrassed about your past, hanging your head in shame and quitting.

And that is the one thing the lads in Boyzone and Take That did not do…

They did not allow embarrassment to stop them moving forward, they did not hang their heads in shame of their dubious and dodgy starts and they did not quit … which is the real lesson here.

Whatever has happened in your past, no matter how bad it was, do not quit… because if you do, you will never taste success.

Kind Regards

John Harrison

Two Ways To Make Money Starting Today Requiring Little To No Skills

I want to follow on from the previous article where I shared with you the advice from an Instagram ‘influencer’ who suggested that you sell items on eBay to make some extra money to cover the increasing monthly bills.

He suggested that you got into a routine of adding two items to eBay each day and aiming to make £3 profit on each item.

At the end of a 30 day period you would have earned £180 which would be incredibly useful to most people, especially with these sky rocketing living costs.

Now I am not personally suggesting that you list two items on eBay each day for just £6 profit, if you want to… or have no other option then yes, give it a go, but there are a lot of other ways to earn extra money to help cover any increasing living costs.

Many of which require less work than selling on eBay… and they don’t necessarily require specific skills or knowledge.

Here are a two more incredibly simple ways to make money which you can start today which require little to no skills.

Writing

A simple and easy way to make money is to write articles for people via market places such as Fiverr or Upwork.

Writing a 300-500 word article requires very little work other than the writing itself and then sending the finished work to the client… and you do not need to have any specific writing skills or qualifications either to become a well paid content writer.

You could have one 300-500 word article written in the same time it takes to list one product on eBay and there is no product to package or take to the post office.

You could write two articles through Fiverr, earn £8+ (minimum price is £5, Fiverr takes £1 and you get £4) without any of the other work which comes with selling on eBay.

If you are half decent at writing you could charge more per article. Just this morning I read about a woman who made £5,904 at time of writing in her first month as a freelance writer.

I can tell you now that she wasn’t making just £4 per article.

She would have needed to have written an astronomical 1,476 articles in that month if she was only earning £4 per article!

There is no way that she could have done that because she was doing her freelance work in her spare time. She was working as a freelance writer around her full time job.

She would have been making several hundred pounds per piece of written content.

She is a professional writer and found a few great clients who wanted full content packages. From what I can see, she found her clients by starting on Fiverr.

With over 1.93 billion websites online, there are literally millions of websites needing new articles so there are more than enough writing opportunities out there to make some extra money.

You may not make several hundred pounds per article…yet, but you could make several hundred pounds writing a handful. That’ll be a lot better than faffing around selling cheap products on eBay.

Having a writing routine, and developing a writing habit and a system will help you to maximise profits and lessen the effort you put in.

Websites

Another way to make money which doesn’t take a lot of hard work is building websites which you sell on for a profit.

I recently came across a guy who was building ten websites a month and then selling them for £200 apiece.

Those websites took around an hour to build as he was using the WordPress system which is an incredibly simple way of building websites.

He would add a few pieces of content to them and then list them on a website dedicated to buying and selling websites. It’s all relatively easy really.

Andi our techy guy compares it to when he previously worked in the building trade, building a website is far easier than building a house and doing jobs like fitting doors, windows, skirting boards etc.

There’s no heavy lifting, no struggling in tight spaces, no expensive tools to buy and lock away from thieves and no splinters or injuries.

Occasionally Andi may experience a little frustration when there is a technical issue, but other than that, building a basic website is a doddle once you know how.

Is that something you should consider?

Life might be getting harder here in the UK, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t ways to make the money you need.

There are many ways to make extra money which do not require a lot of hard physical work or you to spend a lot of time working.

Also, in case you were wondering, a lot of the clients and customers are from other parts of the world where they are not struggling the same as we are here so there is no shortage of people to work for or sell to.

If you would like to know more about building websites as well as learning how to write reports and articles go check out The 30 Day To £30K Challenge. In that one product you will learn both.

Andi shows you how to build a basic WordPress website which can be sold if you so wish, and you will also learn how to write reports, articles and simple sales letters giving you the skills to create products which you can sell for yourself from your very own fully automated passive income system or you can work for other people for money.

Struggling With The Increasing Cost Of Living? You Need To…

I’m sure that you have noticed that there is a bit of a crisis happening here in the UK currently with fuel and energy costs soaring to the point that a lot of people are going to struggle hard.

It’s made worse by a government who appear to only want to help themselves more than the hard working people of Britain.

I have seen a few people hit social media declaring that their energy costs have gone up so much that they simply cannot afford to live.

There have been some people saying that it has become that bad they have been forced to decide between eating or putting the heating on.

© 2022 Vuk Valcic / SOPA Images/Sipa via AP Images

They say that they can’t afford to do both.

I sympathise with those people.

Life can be hard and it is no fun when you are forced to make decisions each day in your personal life because of the decisions other people have made elsewhere.

Increasing energy costs are acceptable when it’s because you have cranked the heating up full and turned your home into a sauna because you wanted to and you knew that you could afford it.

But it’s not okay when the increase cost is completely out of your control.

A few pounds a month increase is one thing… but bills have doubled for many here in the UK.

How does the average person deal with that?

Not long after seeing people sharing their worries and concerns about how they are going to struggle because of the increased cost of living, I saw one guy on Instagram giving tips on how to manage the rising costs…

One of the things he said was that people should stop saying that they ‘cannot afford it’ and instead ask themselves ‘how can I afford it?’

That’s very easy to say… however, it’s good advice.

You can’t change what you can’t change, but you can change what you can change.

You may not be able to control the increasing living costs, but you do control how much money you make each month.

This guy also went on to say that if you were to list two items each day on eBay and make just £3 profit on each item, you would have around £180 extra each month… he was working on a 30 day month.

That £180 extra each month over a year is £2,160. That’s got to help a lot.

£3 is not a lot of money and so it shouldn’t be hard to make an extra £3 profit per item.

Everyone should be able to make £6 a day.

However… there can be quite a lot of work involved with selling items on eBay.

Scroll down to carry on reading…

It is better if you can source and sell items which give you a higher amount of profit meaning that you need to sell less and do less work.

If you were able to sell an item and earn £6 profit, you have 50% less work to do than if you made just £3 per item.

Unless you decide to sell multiple numbers of the same product you will need to photograph and list each item.

Every item you sell will need to be packaged and taken to a post office to be sent.

Ideally if you want to sell on eBay I say find something which gives you the most profit for the least amount of work.

This is vitally important if you are going to do this in your spare time to help raise some much need money to help pay increasing living costs.

The last thing you need is to swamp whatever little time you do have spare with hours of work selling cheap items on eBay.

The guy giving this advice was right when he said that people need to focus on creating…

Routines, Habits and Systems

To be successful you need to develop a routine of adding two items to eBay each day. This routine, develops into a habit.

A system is something which makes everything a lot easier and quicker saving you a lot of time and effort.

So for example, having a template which you use for your listings and a corner set aside where you take the same four photos of each product would help you to get your listings online faster.

This is about working smarter and more efficient and that includes finding the right product to sell which will give you higher profits and requires less work.

Would you rather carry several large heavy parcels to the post office which gives you a combined profit of £50 or would you rather post a couple of light envelopes which give you a combined profit of several hundred pounds or more?

If you chose the latter, then maybe you should consider copying Martin Fanshaw.

Martin regularly makes profits of thousands of pounds by simply buying an item from one person then selling it to another person for a much higher price than the one he paid.

He doesn’t simply buy an item and then wait for a customer to come along; it’s not your usual business model. He only buys an item when he knows he has someone to sell it too.

Martin sits nicely between two people and creams off a large profit for simply organising the transfer of an item from one to the other.

All the items he transfers are easy to handle and can be popped into an envelope or a jiffy bag. No big or bulky items here to post.

There is very little heavy or physical work to do and yet it can generate huge profits.

Martin once turned a £30,000 profit in just two days… by simply selling items to people who desperately wanted to own them.

If you would like to learn how Martin sources the product he sells to the people who are desperate to own them for a nice large profit, click the link below:

Kind Regards

John Harrison

PS… Once you know what to sell and where to buy them, you could sell them on sites like eBay if you wish but you won’t need to focus on making small £3 profits as suggested by the guy on Instagram.

One item alone could potentially make you £180 profit.

Something Special Is Coming!

Here at Streetwise HQ we are busy putting the finishing touches to a product we are about to release.

I’m not going to say too much about the product itself as you’ll soon hear all about it once it is released.

What I will tell you is that I was recently approached by a guy with a short report highlighting how he makes an easy extra £1,500 per month.

The original report he sent to me was only 24 pages long.

It needed a few tweaks and tidying up a little so I’m not sure how many pages the final report will have, but it won’t be a long read.

I’m thinking of selling that product for at least £97, possibly more. I’ve not yet decided.

It’s not the length of the product which sets the price; a 300 page novel cannot sell for more than £20 unless it is an extremely rare copy.

A 24 page report can sell for a couple of hundred pounds.

This product is worth the £97+ asking price because it shows the buyer how to easily make £1,500 extra each month.

A consistent £1,500 per month will give you £18,000 a year… a 300 page novel is not going to do that.

Who wouldn’t want to pay £97 or more if it could make you £18,000 per year?

It really is a simple system and anyone who acts on the information and makes it work, could make quite a lot of money.

Not only does this guy make a decent amount of money each month using this system… he is now set to make a fair bit of money from selling this short report.

It doesn’t take long to write a short report, especially if a lot of the pages include screenshots and photos to show people exactly what to do.

Once a report or eBook is finished, you can sell it for as many years as the content is relevant.

And because they are digital they can be sold online on autopilot.

Selling these digital reports automatically frees you up a lot of time and allows you to carry on with your day to day activities.

As I say, it takes very little time to write a short report.

You can write a report AND have it online primed and ready to make sales on your own fully automated passive income system within 30 days!

It can be done.

Andi our techy guy did exactly that as a case study to prove that it is possible to build a fully automated passive income system selling a digital ebook/report within 30 days.

That short 38 page ebook Andi wrote and published to his own fully automated passive income system still makes sales today.

He doesn’t need to do anything because the whole payment and delivery process is automated.

All of our reports have made at least £30K… and you can have your own report online within 30 days.

You can have as many fully automated passive income systems online as you like.

Just Because It Is There, Doesn’t Mean It’s Right For You

This morning I watched as a woman wearing gym gear jumped into her car and drove off.

And before you say it, no, I wasn’t watching her like some weird stalker with a fetish for women wearing gym gear.

I assumed she was off to one of the gyms in town.

What I found interesting is that at the top of her road, less than 0.2 miles away and only a three minute walk, is the leisure centre with a large well equipped gym.

Basically, she had a decent gym only a stone’s throw away.

She had everything she needed on her doorstep.

Gym, swimming pool, yoga and stretch classes, spin classes, aerobics classes, squash courts and a sauna.

Everything a person who enjoys sports and keeping fit can be found at the leisure centre… yet this woman drove to a different gym in another part of the town.

I imagine she would be one of those people who will drive miles to a gym to spend half an hour running on a stationary tread mill…

…and pay a small fortune for the privilege too.

Why do people do that when they can go for a run in the country or through the streets for free?

Maybe it’s the weather; we don’t have reliable weather to run regularly outside.

A lot of gym bunnies baffle me, they work hard yet whenever they need to do something real… like walk for a few metres, they avoid it like the plague.

The worst example of this was the guy I once saw parking his flash sports car in the disabled parking spot at Tesco.

This guy was HUGE with muscles. He looked like someone had stuffed footballs into a tight T-shirt.

He clearly was a fan of going to the gym and spending hours engaged in hard physical exercise. This man liked to push it to the max until he was drenched in sweat…

… yet at Tesco he had to park as close to the shop doors to avoid walking a few extra feet through the car park.

To save himself the walk he parked in a spot set aside for vulnerable people who need to be close to the doors the most.

Why do that?

It’s not like the walk would kill him. This ‘alpha male’ (or ‘clown’ as I like to call him) probably spends hours running on a treadmill as part of his ‘beefing up’ regime.

Anyway, I digress… sorry.

The point that I am trying to get across here is that people are different.

Each and every one of us sees and experiences things differently.

We have different likes and dislikes.

The woman I saw driving off to go to another gym had her reasons to go elsewhere even though everything she needed to exercise and keep fit was on her doorstep.

Her needs and wants are different to other people, she may have wanted:

  • A cheaper gym
  • A better equipped gym
  • A quieter gym with less people
  • A more exclusive gym
  • A gym which has better personal trainers
  • A smaller gym

There could be any number of reasons as to why she went to a different place even though they both essentially offer the same thing.

Why am I telling you this?

I am telling you this because when it comes to starting a business, writing a book, creating a product, building a website or one of numerous other ventures, a lot of people stop and doubt what they are doing because…

‘It’s already been done’

Or…

Somebody is already doing it’.

Very often people are afraid to give something a go because they fear they will fail because someone else is already doing it.

Usually, the fact that someone else is doing something successfully is a good reason as to why someone else should do it too.

A large Tesco supplying a small area for many years may seem like enough, but that doesn’t stop Aldi or Lidl plonking a large store right around the corner.

They know that people like different products, they also like ‘new’ stuff and they like change.

Obviously, you wouldn’t want fifteen supermarkets all on the same road in a small village, that would be a saturated market, but one, two or even five competitors shouldn’t be a problem.

Everyone must have heard of Star Wars by now, it is an incredibly popular film, book and now television franchise where good people fight bad people in a galaxy far, far away.

With the huge popularity of Star Wars, you would wonder why hundreds, maybe thousands of other authors and television companies bother making science fiction series where good people battle bad people in space… but they do.

Why?

Because…

  1. It’s an incredibly popular niche.
  2. People like different things. Not everyone likes Star Wars, some prefer Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica or Stargate.
  3. People can enjoy multiple variations of the same thing. I know people who enjoy all of the above shows.

So, if you want to start something new but fear that you are going to fail because there are already people doing what you want to do… I say, forget that and get started.

Inaction has caused more money problems and failures than action.

Not getting started has destroyed more dreams and ambitions than getting started.

Even if after getting started you don’t succeed as you hoped, you will be in a far better position than if you had never started.

You make new connections, you learn new skills, you gain experience and new opportunities reveal themselves to you.

Of course, that all depends on what you do.

Some methods of making money are a lot simpler compared to others.

One of the simplest ways to make money is to buy and sell digital assets for a huge profit.

Putting Pounds In The Bank With Mass Exposure

Don’t You Want Me?

Don’t You Want Me by British dance musician Felix reached #6 in the UK charts in July 1992.

It was a huge club hit across the world and went on to reach #1 in Finland, Spain, Switzerland and the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart.

Despite it being a well crafted piece of music and a huge hit in the clubs across the UK, it probably wouldn’t have been so successful had the band Pet Shop Boys not been sitting in for Radio One’s Simon Bates for a week.

The popular duo were asked to take over Simon’s mid day show while he was away on holiday.

As part of Simon’s show, he would pick a ‘song of the week’ which would be played every day for the week.

During their shift as radio presenters, the Pet Shop Boys chose Felix’s Don’t You Want Me as their song of the week taking the song from the clubs to daytime audiences of millions.

That exposure catapulted the song up the charts as more and more people heard it and rushed out to get their own copy.

Funky Town!

In 1986, Australian rock band Pseudo Echo’s cover of Lipps Inc’s Funky Town reached #8 in the UK charts.

This was their only UK hit.

The UK success of the song was thanks to Simon Bates after he heard it being played everywhere while on a trip downunder.

He brought it back to the UK and played it on his show exposing it to millions of new music fans resulting in it being released here and becoming a top ten success.

This is how powerful celebrity mass recommendations can be.

Oprah’s Book Club

Oprah Winfrey could single-handedly make a book a success.

By reviewing a book on her television talk show and splapping a Oprah’s Book Club sticker on its cover, enough of Oprah’s millions of loyal viewers would rush out and buy a copy making the book a bestseller.

Oprah’s positive endorsements of books helped turn authors into overnight successes and possibly into millionaires.

You are probably wondering why I am telling you these fascinating facts while pointing out the obvious.

You know that statistically, if one person who has millions of viewers, listeners and/or followers positively recommends a product or service, it will result in quite a lot of sales.

It’s a given.

But getting that kind of exposure today is easier than you may think.

Sort of…

I’m not saying that you can or will have your products or services recommended by big A-list celebrity presenters, there is a HUGE amount of competition and trying to get your product or service into their hands is likely to be pointless task… but there are other ways to make this work.

We live in a world of ‘micro-celebrities’.

The World Of The Micro-Celebrity!

What I mean when I say ‘micro-celebrities’ is this… for every one incredibly popular person – known as an influencer –  on social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter, there are tens and possibly hundreds of ‘less popular’ influencers who still have very respectable large followings.

These influencers may not be A-list celebs, but to the people who follow them regularly, they are celebrities.

These are the micro-celebrities.

The popular television presenter and bestselling author (they all seem to be bestselling authors these days!) Ben Fogle has 456,000 followers on Instagram. He is now an A-list celebrity.

If he was to post about your product or service a few times over a week or two, it would send a few people your way.

Exposure like that would result in you having a few sales and gaining a few new followers. You could end up with thousands of new followers and thousands of pounds in the bank.

However…

With Ben being an A-list celeb, he is incredibly busy. He is in big demand and has reputation to protect so he is unlikely to promote products by people he doesn’t know or is not aligned with his principles.

So instead of trying to get someone like Ben Fogle to promote your product or service, you find the other ‘Ben Fogles’ who are on social media with followings below 100,000.

Influencers who have around 10,000 followers are often the most approachable. Instead of trying to go for the one BIG ONE, you go for ten or twenty of the smaller influencers.

Ten people who each have 10,000 followers gives you an audience of 100,000.

By making friends with the smaller influencers and their communities, you give yourself the opportunity to grow to the point where you are no longer a ‘new name’ in the industry.

Once you are gaining traction within the industry and have a handful of micro-celebrities talking with you and about you, sharing your information and products to their audience, you start to grow in popularity yourself and become ‘known’ in the right circles.

Everyone loves the idea of landing that one big celebrity endorsement which is life changing like the ones mentioned at the start of this article, but they are often quite rare.

For most people, the most logical and common sense approach is to start small and work your way up.

Fortunately with social media, everyday people have access to thousands of micro-celebrities and influencers who can help them to grow.

You also have access to many A-list celebrities which means that it is possible – I say ‘possible’ and not that you ‘will’ – make friends with them by regularly chatting to them by commenting on their posts.

It is possible that you may get noticed and ‘discovered’.

But, as I say, the most logical and common sense approach would be to create a list of micro-celebrities and influencers who have 10,000 or more followers and start to talk to them via their posts on social media.

Remember the article about the six degrees of separation?

You just never know where you can end up if you chat to the right people.

One micro-influencer may introduce you to someone who gives you and/or your business the kick it needs.

Exposure is incredibly powerful when you get it and today you can manage a lot of your exposure yourself and believe me when I say that there is a lot of exposure to be had today.

With social media platforms such as YouTube, Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, you can grow your own audience and ‘hijack’ other people’s.

There is work involved and so if you are looking for a way to make money which requires little work and allows you to make money WITHOUT exposure and the need to be known, check out:

Liberating Money From Greedy Online Bookmakers

If you were to bet £50 using even odds that Liverpool were to win a football match, and then also bet £50 using even odds that Liverpool were to lose, you will break even.

Basically you will hand over £50 only to have it handed back.

It would be a waste of your time right?

Wrong!

Not if you got paid by the bookmakers for doing just that.

There is a little ‘loophole’ which allows people to make money every time they – or rather someone else – ‘breaks even.

Very few people know about this loophole, even less know how to make it pay.

But I do…

I was shown it by a close and trusted friend who had learned it from an Austrian chap who had been visiting the country for a seminar.

Apparently, there is a small select group of people who are making a fortune ‘liberating’ large amounts of money from greedy online bookmakers by using this ‘cheeky’ little loophole.

Let’s just say… it is quite spectacular when you see what they do!

Would You Say No To £2,000 For Just  10 Hours Work?

In a previous article I mentioned that I had been reading about a guy who built websites which he sold for £200 each.

He was building and selling around ten a month and earning an extra £2,000.

He was doing this in his spare time.

What I find interesting is that he is not selling websites that are making money. If they were, he could sell them for a lot more.

He was selling basic websites with little content.

But he was happy to build them and sell them for £200 because:

  1. People were happy to buy them at that price without them earning money.
  2. It saved him a lot of time and effort growing the websites to the point they were making a consistent income each month.

His philosophy was ‘why make more work for yourself when you can sell them quick for a profit’.

Which makes perfect sense; profit in the bank fast is never a bad thing.

I don’t know a huge amount about building websites myself; I leave that kind of thing to Andi our techy guy…

But I do wonder… if this chap can build a website within an hour which people will happily pay £200 for, how hard could it be to build a website which makes just £100 or more a month?

If he can build ten websites in as little as ten hours, imagine if he spent the time required to turn them into websites which each earned £100 or more per month.

Ten websites making £100 is £1,000.

Those ten websites could earn £1,000 (or more) each month in passive income.

He could then build ten more which each also earn £100 per month.

As I say, I don’t know a lot about websites personally, but I know that we have used websites to make millions of pounds.

We use them differently to how most websites work, but the guy who builds them and sells them for £200 clearly knows enough to build himself a little portfolio of passive income producing websites.

Similar to how a landlord earns a monthly income from rental property, this guy could be earning a passive income from online property.

That’s basically what a website is… it is a property online.

I think that would be my focus.

I think it would make sense to build ten websites to sell each month while also building and growing ten or more of my own.

Not only can websites which are earning money sell for more than £200, he will be earning a passive income which will give him the security and finances to grow.

Building a simple website to sell really isn’t that hard to do. Even with my limited understanding I can see from this video (below) that anyone can do it.

If you would like to see how easy it is to build a website fast without actually knowing anything about building websites… click the link below.

If You Want To Buy Things Without Looking At The Price Tag…

“If you want to buy things without looking at the price tag, don’t work looking at the clock.”

That was a quote I read on Instagram the other day.

There is a great truth in that quote.

I’m not saying that it is 100% correct; there are ways to make a lot of money without working every hour of the day, but…most people who have made fortunes, did so by not working to a regular time and put more hours in than most.

Time is incredibly precious, unlike money, you cannot earn time back so I completely understand why people are protective of their time, but most people are protective of it in the wrong way.

I’ve noticed that a lot of the people who complain that they do not have enough money are the ones who will not spend any more time at work than is required.

As soon as the clock hits 4:30PM or 5:00PM, they bounce out of their seats or leap from their machines and run straight for the door.

Even in their homes, when they need to do something necessary, they often do the least amount they can get away with, using phrases like ‘that’ll do’ when the job appears done.

There is nothing wrong with avoiding wasting a lot of your own precious time doing things you dislike; it makes sense especially if you are wanting to get finished so you can start something you really enjoy.

But a lot of people don’t, they curl up on the sofa, watch mind-numbing television and eat the evening away.

Their time is their time… that is absolutely fine, but they need to know and understand that themselves when they moan that they cannot afford to do XYZ.

They probably cannot afford to do XYZ because they spend most of their time engaged in activities which doesn’t earn them any extra money and/or costs them money.

I have to be a little careful here with what I say because of the current state of the country with rising fuel costs, increases in tax and contributions, rising inflation and no increase in wages, a lot of people are struggle more than they previously were because of external decisions imposed on them.

But that does mean that more and more people now need to find a second way to make money.

And that will require some of their time.

Very few wealthy or successful people achieved their goals by working between the hours of 9AM and 5PM only.

When Arnold Schwarzenegger wanted to become an actor, he took evening classes to learn acting and that was on top of getting up early to spend hours in the gym pushing weights and doing a day’s work.

He put the time and effort in and reaped the rewards both financially and in lifestyle.

The only clock watching he did was to make sure that he was at the right place at the right time.

He wasn’t rushing to leave work so that he could crash on the sofa with a plate of pizza and several hours of Coronation Street and Emmerdale.

The quote I started this article with is great, I like it, and as I say, there is a great truth to it.

The wealthiest people on the planet who haven’t inherited their money, made it by doing more than the average person.

But they didn’t do it all by rolling up their sleeves and doing everything themselves. There are other factors at play here.

They leveraged other people’s skills and knowledge and they leveraged what money they had.

So as well as working longer hours than most people, they actually paid people to do specific work for them and/or they invested their money to generate more money.

The good news is that you can do that too… and you don’t necessarily need to spend a lot of extra hours doing it either.

Most people want or need more money; they don’t necessarily want to be billionaire.

Some might, but it is out of reach for most people. Usually it takes a lot of time, effort and money to become one.

Becoming wealthy and making ‘more’ money is relative. Everyone has their own ideas as to what ‘being wealthy’ is and how much they would like to make.

A person who has no money… being given £100 is a lot of money and can help ease their burden.

A person who has £100… being given £1,000 is a lot of money and can help to ease their burden.

A person who has £1,000… being given £10,000 is a lot of money and can help to ease their burden.

How much do you want or need?

£1,000?

£10,000?

£100,000?

£100,000 might sound like a lot of money and unreachable to some people at the moment, but it is doable. If it wasn’t, other people wouldn’t be making it.

For others, generating just £1,000 a month extra sounds impossible, but it can be done.

Very often, earning larger amounts of money with ease is more about finding systems or selling products which give you a higher return on your time or the money you invest.

Only yesterday I was reading about a guy who makes an extra £2,000 a month building and selling websites which take as little as ten hours of his spare time.

That’s total time.

Each website takes an hour to build and he sells them for £200 each.

He builds and sells ten websites a month.

That’s just ten hours of work each month… ten hours of his spare time generating £2,000.

Who wouldn’t want to make £2,000 for ten hours work?

If website building isn’t for you, there is another simpler way to make money selling digital assets which you buy for £7.50 and sell on for a £75+ profit.
